Mark coordinated the program on ground and he also participated.

Next Level, an initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is an international hip-hop arts and culture program. Next Level sends American hip-hop artist-educators use music and dance to promote cultural exchange, entrepreneurship, and conflict prevention. Teams of four—a beat maker/producer, a DJ, a hip-hop dancer, and an MC—spend 2–3 weeks teaching and performing in the host countries.

Next Level Uganda took place over a period of 2 weeks with a series of workshops which culminated into a public performance.
