A look into Yes academy Uganda virtual program. Throughout my years of creative & innovation programming, I had never organized 100% virtual program until recently when I worked with Youth Excellent Stage (Y.E.S) academy to reach and elevate young musicians in Uganda through virtual trainings & performances. With slow and internet cut off in January 2020, we managed to promote and receive close to 200 applications. We selected 50 participants from various parts of Uganda. We worked around the clock with participants spread all around Uganda 🇺🇬 and facilitators across the continent; USA, Thailand, Australia, Alaska.
It was a success and huge learning experience for me, and what a useful addition to my programs organizing experience. I am more equipped than ever before.
